Hi there, I am very excited to add this information for you all and in hope that I will meet more people out there that are part of my whanau. I have most of these birth and death certificates plus lots of newspaper clippings and photocopies of other legal documents that provide a confirmed link. Here is my Genealogy link to William Cook (1790-1874) and Tiraha Cook AND shockingly enough (as they were happy to marry their brothers & sisters back in the 1800's) I am directly linked through my mother and my father who found out much later that they are second cousins (uh oh!) but luckily I turned out reasonably normal haha... here it goes:
*William Cook (1790-1874) & Tiraha Cook
*George Cook (1825-1870) & Matilda Hannah Cook (nee Fawkes)
*Albert Edward Cook (22.4.1863-1930) & 'Ilaise Ma'ake Cook (known also as Eliza Cook) - here is where I am the great grand-daughter of Albert Cook (english/maori side) AND the great great grand-daughter of 'Ilaise Cook (maori/tongan side)
*Josephine Matilda Cook (16.6.1890-6.12.78) & Wilfred Jeffs (b. 7.12.1892)
*Wilfred Jeffs, my dad also known as Bill Sevesi (b. 28.7.1923) & Vika Jeffs nee Siola'a (b. 14.8.1949)
*Tania Matilda Jeffs (ME) born 27.4.1970 - my grandmother is Kolini Siola'a, daughter of Ned Cook & Vahe'a and Ned Cook is the son of "Ilaise & Albert Cook
Kolini died one week before Xmas 2008. I miss you so much nana but know you are with your husband Sione Siola'a and your mum Vahe'a in heaven - 'ofa lahi atu Kolini.
Hope this helps any of you out there. regards, Tania Jeffs (email:
