I am very new to family research
My grandfather was Horace James Abbott. He was apparently born around 1907 in Wellington. He worked as a plumber at A&T Burt in Wellington NZ. He married my grandmother Ivy Jones and he died in Wellington NZ in 1963.
All we have to go on with his family is that his mother was Coral, Coraline, or Carol Brown(e).
He is proving very hard to research.
Its almost like he did not exist prior to his marriage.
Any clues would be most welcome.
