Thank you very much for your reply. More Taunga -o-te Tini More married Ngapoko Terei in 1853. (According to our records in the registry here they died on the same day in 1868.)

They had a son Tamuera and a daughter Maria. I am hoping to get a birth certificate for both Tamuera and Maria. Tamuera returned to Rarotonga with Paiao and they were my great great grandparents and were buried in the grave yard at the Titikaveka CICC Church.

Given that there was only 1 Samoa then - would these birth certificates be in Samoa (western)?.
