Talofa ALL:

To help you and others, it would be wise to tell us what it is you're seeking (be kind and ask one family name per submission) and/or any and all info you already have.

Samoan genealogy can be time consuming, so it helps to know name/surname history before the 1900's. is a great start for any/all beginners' quest. But always check any/all data against the originals pertaining database.

When checking for surnames always check surname as a first name and vice versa. Many times a 'matai' name is listed before a birth name, and many times the father's forename becomes the family's surname - especially before 1900's.

Hope this helps.
