I came across this posting whilst looking for the history of my own family's samoan side. However, i may be able to help here . I am Niuean/Samoan from the same family in Niue as Pavihi . Hakeagaiki(m) & Muaheone(f) had children and amongst them Pavihi and his elder sister Tikatupe . I am a descendant of Tikatupe . I do have some knowledge though on the Pavihi side of the family as we are a close-knit family in Niue . Pavihi's full name is Rev. Tafakaveli Pavihi Hakeagaiki of Avatele, Niue Island . He was a Avatele Police Constable, WWI veteran and upon return from the war, a minister of the clergy.
Rev. Pavihi married Meafou Tamasese. They had children, amongst them:
.. and more . Both Pavihi and Meafou are buried in Niue . I also know that two of their daughters are still living today in Auck, NZ though advanced in age - Tolina & Meafou Amanaki .Hope the information helps , apologies for any incorrect names etc. Thanks.
