It was nice to have read your email, I am from NZ and have a history of your family tree. My great-great-great grandfather is Oscar Smith. His oldest and first daughter was Serah Smith and she married an Albert Schmidt from Germany, i.e. my great great grandfather.

Myself and a cousin have a history of the Smith family tree and I am in the midst of tracing our roots from that side of the family. My general knowledge of Oscar Smith was that he was from West Virginia - USA and left his family and migrated to Samoa where he had numerous children.

I am presently living in the UK - London with a sister and brother but am in NZ for a holiday.
