Lars Christofferson Folkman was born in Aaker, Bornholm on 8 Sep 1805. He married Margarethe Kirstine Hansen before 1830. She was b. 1809 They had twin boys Lars Jorgen Larsen and Marcus Peter Folkman 2 Jan 1848. Marcus died 3 Sep 1848. Lars Jorgen Larsen Folkman immigrated to US in 1868. He changed his name to George Christopher Folkman upon arrival to US. My question is: Did his father, Lars Christofferson Folkman, travel with wife Margrethe and young girl named Ida Charlotte Hansen Age 2 years and son George Folkman to US around 1879. George later married Ida when she was of age. There is a family dispute about where Lars Christofferson Folkman died. Could someone do a lookup in the Danish Archives and see if he died before they immigrated? Would much appreciate any help.
