Thanks a lot for answering my question. I did join the Danish-L genealogy list, but got no answer to my question up to now. I will write to the archive in Esbjerg using the link you send, and hope for the best. Do you know how long the records in Denmark are kept private? Here in the Netherlands death-records are public till about 1950.
