I found one more generation back, on the census:
1801 census of Frederiks parish, Lysgaard, Viborg county, Denmark. Place name: Fjends District, Gronhoy bye:
Lehnhard Dirr, 33, married, head of house, "German colonist"
Anna Margaretha Agricola, 31, married, wife
Anna Catharina Vielbertin, 7, single, HER CHILD
Anna Margaretha Vielbertin, 6, single, HER CHILD (probably from a previous marriage)
Maria Christina Dirrin, 5, THEIR CHILD
Joh. Jacob Dirr, 3, THEIR CHILD

So on the 1850 census, Anna Margarethe listed her last name as Dirr, and on the 1834 and 1845 censuses she listed her last name as Philbert or Vielbert, as the case may be! (Remember that the "in" at the end is for daughters)
Best wishes,
LB
