We are related to each other, as I am also out of the Hess family and I have genealogy book written in 1930 and 1950 for the entire Hess family in Denmark.

Fred (Frederick), his correct name is Fritz Duus Svendsen Hess

Professor Fritz Duus Svendsen Hess is dead in the U.S. at the age of 96 years. For the older generation of supervisor presses is Professor Hess, as the grandson of the founder of the factories in 1876, manufacturer CM Hess, a name often heard. Fritz Hess was born in Havnegade in Vejle, the son of a mechanical engineer Albert Hess, who was a brother of CM Hess.Fritz Hess went on Seligman school in Vejle, took præliminæreksamen from Fredericia Latin School and graduated as a bank man in Fredericia Bank.I 1911 took Hess, along with nine other young Danish, to Buenos Aires, but was the only one who was in South America where he worked with some of each, and eventually be hired by the railroad Ferro Carril Central America.

Later he came to Canada, where he tested engines for farmers, but he went then to Chicago where he joined the company International Harvester Company. In 1940, Fritz Hess Grand Master of Arts and in 1942 he took the degree of Master of Business Administration. Fritz Hess was eventually a professor at Stand Fort University in Palo Alto in the U.S., with over 85 years since he retired as a teacher.
