Thank you so much for this extensive research. I had discovered the Danish census research very recently myself, so I had some of this information. From a 6 October 1917 testimony to the Bureau of Pensions (for a widow's pension), Cecelia said the following: " I was aged 15 years when I came to the United States. My step mother Annie Anderson came with me, and my step father Nels Anderson. We came first to Stillwater, MN. I was there only a month or so when I was sent to the home of my step mother's brother, Jens Nelson, now dead. I worked all about there. I have no brother or sister."
She ended up on the Wisconsin side of the river, living in Range, St Croix county.
