According to the Danish emigration records the family came from Hjorring.

Christian born Mygdal, Sofie born in Sindal, Hans born Bjerby, Frederik born Asdal, and the rest of the children born in Skallerup. (but found them living in Bindslev on the 1890 census)

Kristian Peter Kristiansen married Sofie Ulrikke Hansen 29 May 1885 in Bjerby, Hjorring.

Hans Kristian Envold (Edvold?) Kristensen b 9 Nov 1885 in Bjerby (opslag 10)

Kristian Frederik Kristensen b 11 Oct 1887 in Asdal (opslag 28)

Sofie Ulrikke Hansen b 26 Mar 1864 in Sindal. (Father's name looks like Hans Chr. Jensen to me, but I could be wrong - wouldn't be the first time.... Mother Sofie Ulrikke Hagen, Opslag 42)
