I've reached a dead end. Can trace my great grandfather, Niels Peter Lund, back to Orbyhage, Jutland, but no farther back. Unable to determine what ship he took through internet. No info in Danish archives (Haderslev district seems to be about the only parish with no info saved in computer!) nor in Ship transcribers files. I know he arrived eventually in Perth Amboy, NJ and lived with a Swedish family (Lindbergh) during 1900 census. He became a tile maker. Niles Peter and his sister,Anne Hansine, left Denmark as kids with their parents staying behind. Their parents were Hans Sorenson Lund and Ehefrau (housewife?) Anne Margrethe geb. Hansen. He married Kjestine Cathrine Sophie Anderson in Perth Amboy. She was born in Osby, Jutland, just across the river, but they never met in Denmark.
