Thank you...got that far, but can't find his parents anywhere. We thought the FW Gottschalck of 1789 and wife Berentine marie Elis Moller 1789 were his parents but the would have been too old to have him in 1843, which is his birth year. there has to be someone in the 1820s or 30s to be his father. the 1789 couple had a son with the same name, but all i could find of him was that he had one daughter. thanks for your help...it was so kind of you. If you find anyone before our FW G, please let me know.
