That is amazing news...it appears that I either have the wrong line of gottschalck's or perhaps the Frederick that married Berentine marie eliz. moller, is the grandfather instead of the father of the frederick who was born on July 14, 1843..my grandfather? Where we were supposing that his father, the one born in denmark around 1789, would have been his grandfather instead of father. Could that be the case?
The scenario being: the circa 1789 FWG being the first one, his son FWG born Feb 14, 1823, and then my grandfather FWG being born July 14, 1843. that makes all of the ages work out...
Do you have any knowledge of the children of the second FWG..the one born in Copenhagen 1823? he might be the exact person who was missing...and i surely hope so.
You are the greatest to help me out....I am in a small community far away from you...but it is so wonderful how computers can connect us to each other. thanks again! Judy Gottschalck Dutruch
