With so many Friedrich Wilhelm Gottschalck's in the Denmark/Germany/Prussia locations in the 1700-1800's, I have finally hit a wall at finding ancestors for my Friedrich Wilhelm Gottschalck. This is what I have so far...and any help you can give me, or more info would be so appreciated.
Born about 1789 in Denmark (our best guess)
Married Berentine Marie Elisabeth Moller (born about 1789 in Denmark). Her parents were G.D. Moller and Anna Catharina Marin (?)..both were born before 1770.
Marriage on April 2, 1818 in Hillerod, Frederiksborg, Denmark.
They had two children: Frederick William Gottschalck, born July 14, 1843 and died Nov. 18, 1887 in Louisiana, USA.
Elizabeth Gottschalck born 1833, who later married Karl Steinman. They had four children: Carl B.,Heinrich, Henricus, and Agnes.

The second Frederick, who was born on July 14, 1843, mentioned above, married Anna Christine Leininger in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, on Jan. 24, 1865. They are my great grandparents.
If anyone has any further info on my family tree or can take me back further than Friedrich Wilhelm Gottschalck, I would be so very thankful.
