Hi. My maternal family name is Skulin. It is a Slovenian surname pronounced Shkulin. However, if I type this name into google it appears as a common name in scandinavia. What does SKULIN mean in Scandinavian? It seems to be from the Faroe Islands? I would love to know if there is some connection with my maternal ancestor of Slovenia and any scandanavian countries or whether this is just a co-incidence.
