The counties in Finland are not that important as in the U.S.A. But this area earlier was a part of "Vasa" or in fin. "Vaasa", nowadays many counties have been integrated to the county of western Finland with its capital in Abo / Turku. But the "landscapes" are more important now. Your parish is a part of the "Ostrobothnia" area. Check http://www.pohjanmaa.fi/eng/kommuner/ for a map. The parish which often is the same as the municipality belong to the county and a county is devided in "landscapes". If you find the town of Vasa / Vaasa just outside the town to the east you will find Lillkyro / Vähäkyrö. (Please note I am always using both the swedish name and the finnish for places)
