Ingveldur, born in Iceland in the early 1800's. Her husband, Einar, had died by the time her daughter and son-in-law, Mr and Mrs Olafur Einarson, left Iceland for America and so she accompanied them to America in 1876.
They lived for awhile at Sandy Bar, Manitoba and also at Hallson, North Dakota, before moving to Section 28 in South Olga township in 1881.
When her son-in-law, filed on a claim in that year, she also filed on an adjoining claim. She continued to live with the Einarsons until her death in 1899. She was a charter member of the Fjalla Icelandic Lutheran Church.
