hello I came to this site to find if there is a record of German soldiers WW2 and I was looking for my grandfather but cant find anything about him. My name Is Jurgaitis and I am Lithuanian. I will try to help you here a little.
Name Eugenia in Lithuanian Spells Eugenija. And the most difficult is with surnames:
Men - Jurgaitis always
Women maiden name Jurgaityte
Women married Jurgaitiene
There are many different ends of the surnames: Jurgaiciai, Jurgaiciu, Jurgaiciui etc. but it means the same family name. There is a hill of crosses in Lithuania named on our name Juraiciu I don't know if hill belonged to us in medieval. There is a link to have a look might be interesting for you
