Louis Rimkus married to Barbara is the correct family. Louis lived as a boarder in Chicago before moving to Sag Harbor, NY. His brothers & sisters settled there too. Louis came to America in abt.1904,married in 1913.His father is listed at the church he married in as Ignatz Remkus.One brother Joseph was suppose to have come from Klaipeda,Lithuaina.
Some census have him coming from Poland, Russia other census have him from Lithuaina.Louis used the name Remkus as the spelling of his last name.I can not find anything that tells me how he came to America,or any place (town) he lived in in Lithuania. I know he was R.C.Catholic.Louis was born on July 4th, 1885.I can't seem to link him to any one town in Lithuaina.What would you suggest?
