I am trying to determine whether Joses Lukasewicz, who arrived in New York from Hamburg on February 4, 1890, could have been my grandfather. The given name he used was not Joses but Stanley or Stanislaus. I have been unable to find in any U.S. record any Lukassus or Lukasiewicz using the given name of Joses.
