Hello: I'am sorry it's taken me a bit to reply to your message - I was never notified had had a reply.
Mass. records were from the census 1920-1940.
I also have Anthony's WW 1 registration card & WW 2 card.
Your correct in the spelling - Kovno.
I just recently found the recording of Anthony's marriage - 1918 in Mass. So happy about that as it gives the names of his parent's and Anthony's wife Mary.
Anthony's parent's are listed as - Father - Anthony Talalas - Mother - Juze Robasauckas
Mary's parents - Kazimeras Ciuksoite & Mother - Vistaria Vitkewicius.
Mary is still a very big puzzle - per the Mass. census records she say she immigrated in 1914. I have found "no" record of her on any ships list no matter how I've spelled her surname and I've tried many, many spellings that people have suggested. She did not marry until 1918 so immigrated under her maiden name.
