My Great-Grandmother went by the name Marie Eline P. Satre. I believe Per Jonsen was either her father or uncle. I think I found his family in the 1865 census in Trysil:

Jon Jonsen age 48
Andrea Jonsen* age 45
Jon Jonsen age 23
Per Jonsen age 13
Larine Jonsdatter age 5
Marte Jonsdatter age 9

After immigrating to Minnesota, Jon used the last name of Satre, as did his mother, Andrea. Per became Peter Johnson. Can anyone tell me if Satre would be a farm name in Trysil? Anyone familiar with this family?

Marie Eline P. Satre married Frank P. Peterson, 21 May 1883, in Halstad, Norman Co, Minnesota.
