I am looking for information on Oluf Jonasen. I don't know when or where he was born or died. What I know is that he and Sigrid Torstensdatter were the parents of my great grandfather, Torsten Olufsen Nyhus. Torsten was born on February 19, 1859 in Nord-​Trøndelag, Norway. He was christened on March 27, 1959 at Kolvereid, Nord-​Trøndelag, Norway. Sigrid married Halvor Torgerson Nyhus on June 18, 1861 at Hegra, Nord-​Trøndelag. In 1865, the Nyhus family emigrated to the US, staying 5 years in Goodhue county, Minnesota before settling in Sverdrup township, Minnehaha county, South Dakota. Any information on Oluf Jonasen would be greatly appreciated.
