I am looking for records on Martin Olsen Holte, born in 1828. Possibly born in Kolbu, Vestre Toten, Oppland, at least we believe his brother, Hans Olsen was born there in 1857. A very old handwritten note says Martin was a skredder (tailor) and lived in Grumheten (sp?). He married Maria Johannesdtr. Degvold (born in 1830) in 1855. Children- Ole Martinsen (9/10/55), Paul Adreas (1861), Jorgine (1864), and Mina (1866). Went to America in 1867. Martin was the fifth child of ??. Brothers Johannes, #6, born in 1832, and Hans #7.
