I am having difficulties researching my family line. Scandinavians really like to change names! My great grandfather was Sven Svenson (Swenson). His father was Gabriel Svenson Goa, born 19 Jan 1850 and died 6 Feb 1906 in Randeberg, Rogaland Norway. The information I have is extremely limited and shows his name as "Gabriel Gabrielson Goa" and was married to a Marne. I have no further information on Marne. They had five children: Sven, Elias, Christina, Inga and Karen. Sven, Christina and Inga all came to the United States.
