A good helper at the Norwegian Digital Archives board has found the parents of the Anne Thomasdtr. who was a fosterchild in her first year at the Kottum farm in Melhus parish in the 1865-census. They are Thomas Ols. of the Øie farm and Siri Olsdtr. of the Duesten farm. This Anne was born out of wedlock. The "helper" said he`d get back to me with more.
Here is Thomas Olsen Øie, single, in his 34th year in the 1865-census at Øie farm:
http://digitalarkivet.uib.no/cgi-win/webcens.exe?slag=visbas...My guess is that the Sivert Jenss. he is a servant for at Øie, is the brother of the widow Berit Jensdtr. Kottum Anne was a fosterchild with in the 1865-census. Sivert and Berit are probably both children of the Jens Siverts. Øie who is 76 years old in the census, and my guess is that he also has a son, Ole, who is the father of Thomas Ols.
Siri`s father is probably this Ole Thorsteins. at Duesten, mother Guru/Guri Rasmusdtr. Her brother is the young Thorstein Ols., while her paternal grandfather is the older Thorstein Ols.
http://digitalarkivet.uib.no/cgi-win/webcens.exe?slag=visbas...We will need to get all of this confirmed, and prove that this candidate for Anne T. is the same one who married Albert. I will get back to you.
