The "handle" to find an answer for your query was
1. to learn the time period (we had to get that from you)
2. to search Valdres for a farm name starting with Sk... in that time period
Valdres is an ancient region in what is now Oppland which included Vestre Slidre, Østre Slidre, Vang, Nord-Aurdal, Sør-Aurdal and Etnedal.
After we know that the 1900 Norwegian census MIGHT find a young boy/man living on a farm beginning with Sk... in a historically Valdres district(hopefully to SOUND like Skeie) and his given name to start with B.... (hopefully to SOUND something like Boye)... patronymic completely unknown.
Using the "easy version" of the NHDC database for the 1900 Norwegian census only returned one likely possible young boy/man to my way of thinking. It isn't proof positive - but a strong likelyhood based on the limited information you gave to search by.http://www.rhd.uit.no/indexeng.html
If you are going to look for a marriage record - start searching first in the home parish of the BRIDE or the parish where the bride was known to later live.
