I am also interested in these siblings and their family and destiny in Canada.
Lars Eriksen Uvsløkk, b. 1903, Rennebu, Norway, left for Canada in 1929. In the Canadian passenger list his destination is given as: friend Aage Sanden, box 261, Sioux Lookout, Ont.
In one of Lars Uvsløkks letter (dated 1. december 19?? - likely in the beginning of the 1930-ties) he mention Ole Sanden. He met Ole in Winnipeg, but he was coming to Lars in Sioux Lookout one of the first days, Lars said. Ole was then going up north again, as soon as the flight was starting again. As I understand he is going to work in a mine there. However they are isolated a couple of months up there because the only way to get there is by plane and they have to wait for the lakes to freeze and the ice to be strong enough to land on.
If any of you have more information about these brothers, please mail me directly. My mail adress is: firstname.lastname@example.org
