Thank you. My great-grandmother was only 14 at the time of that census. That was the 1910 census. Her mother died of tuberculosis. All of her younger siblings were at the home, her father is shown to be a boarder elsewhere. I thought I found where she was, at that time, but, when I did the same search, years later, I could not find the census with her on it. It just makes me sad that she was 14 and probably living with (and working for?) strangers.

From what someone else said on here, way back then, you could only stay at the home if you were under 14.
