The 1882 commemorative book can be viewed at http://issuu.com/africamediaonline/docs/item_marburg_natal_1...
... I have an original copy and will look at home for references to Igesund ... this off my work computer.
Also see http://www.salbu.com/
and go to A Norwegian settler family's story. By SOLVEIG BANG. The Igesund family was in the third wave as described by Solveig.
A third source is http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~nortroe/africa/africa.htm
and this shows the Igesund family was allocated Lot 3. There is a sublink on this page which is http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~nortroe/africa/igesund.htm
I visited Marburg in late March this year and took a photograph of every gravestone in the cemetery. I will see if I can find any Igesund graves amongst them ... still to sort through all the photos taken ... about 10,000 in total.
