Looking for Johannes Johansen b. April 27, 1853 in Asen (Aasen) Frosten, Nord Trondelag Norway. Immigrated to USA in 1872. A brother, Iver Martin, (aka Martin) Johansen came same year. Johannes had 2 nephews immmigrate in 1903. They were going to their uncle's in Reynolds/Holmes North Dakota. We have their immigrant ship list from Throndheim.

We have searched many web sites from North Dakota and other states since 1999 but have come up empty.

Johannes may have changed his name to Johan or John Johnson with various name spellings.

His brother, Martin Johansen Johnson Hojem settled here, in WI. Martin's wife was Anna Jorgine (Aspaas Gundersdtr.) Johansen Johnson Hojem.

Johannes was still here in WI. in 1879, after that we lost him. Our Brick wall!
