The link works beautifully!

If your goal is to continue the research earlier, I'd first go for that birth/baptismal record. The confirmation appears to list a baptismal date of 26 Dec 1827 in Nittedal.

Save all the information you can glean from the confirmation record and you'll know about the year 1842 and where they lived.

The birth/baptismal record MIGHT give additional clues about the parents - if you are lucky their ages and/or where each of them came from.

I don't see any Hans Daf..... in 1801 Nittedal census - so either he is less than 27 years old when son Hans is born or he came from another district. There are two males named 'Dafin' though.

If the birth/baptismal record does not give additional clues then I'd start with the marriage records and page by page work earlier and earlier. You are lucky that Hans' father has such a relatively uncommon name.
