How can I find records from Heligoland or on the Danish navy? I am having trouble locating any information on my great-great grandfather (Christian Peterson 12/3/1820) before he travelled to England before arriving in Australia. On English census records it states that he was born in 1820 Heligoland.

Any help would be lovely.....
