Speculation

Let's say I have the right birth record for Hilda. Then let's assume her parents did not marry. Anne Kirstine and Hilda must have left the parish and ended up at a farm named "Lørdal" somnewhere in Jarlsberg (Vestfold). The only Lørdal I have found is in "Hof i Jarlsberg" parish.

Here is the 1900 census for Lørdal:

Looking back at the birth record for HJilda, her mother's name could very well have been "Anne Kirstine Gulliksdatter". If she decided to drop the first name "Anne", then "Kirstine Gulliksdatter Lørdal" could be the same person. The birth year fits.

She has a daugthter named Ingeborg Lørdal, born the correct year to be your Ingeborg. Ingeborg's father was named Mikal - not Johan, so Hilda and Ingeborg would be half-sisters.

Since Hilda was already 24 years old in 1900, she was probably working at a different farm and not listed with her mother.

Just speculating.....
