Thank you so much for helping me with this search. It almost seems as though this information could belong to them, but it doesn't match up with what we THINK was the immigration year. I agree, nobody seems to have hard evidence, not even Albert, regarding their ages or year of immigration. Right of the bat, I'm inclined to keep the door open, because Ole was in Winona in 1880, and that is the first hard evidence we actually have as to when he was in the U.S. and widowed. I also considered that Kristiania kept being mentioned as their birthplace, but I do not know where Lyngen is at all, if it makes sense? Albert is supposed to have been born in Kristiania as far as we know to this point. Another poster said that Albert was not a common name in Norway, like Ole or Anna, suggesting it might be easier to look up his birthdate. I have Albert's birthdate as Oct 9, 1871, but I have seen it listed elsewhere as late as 1873. It might just be wishful thinking, but I've seen entire families in Ancestry that perfectly match one another, and that was in the states. Where would you suggest I go from here??

I changed Ole's name to Amundsen in his profile, as this name has also showed up as his in a couple of extended relatives trees. Thanks a lot!
