Guys, Thank you for the additional information. The story behind researching this is somewhat tragic. There was a local story here recently in the mid-west US about a neglected "poor man's" cemetery. One of the burial's was a "Leonard Krone" who was hit and killed by a passing train in 1921. The only identification was a time sheet in his pocket from recent employment with this name on it. At the time, efforts were made to find more about him to no avail. He was described as about 30 years old and of likely Scandinavian decent. In searching Ancestry.com, the arrival of the gentleman in my original post stood out. While continuing to research Leonard(s) on this side of the ocean, I thought I would try to dig deeper into the Leonard mentioned above, and any family that may have been left behind. The difficulty is in tracking through the geographical and people name changes that have are a part of Norwegian history. Any additional information regarding his family is greatly appreciated.
