Swede Charles Sanguin on ship "Guiding Star" 1869

Classification: Query
Surnames: Sanguin, Spring
He changed his name to this when he arrived, perhaps because it was phonetically close to his real, Swedish name. Born in Sweden in 1845, he married a Susan Spring, a half-blood Choctaw and died in Oklahoma in 1879. Anyone know what his Swedish name might have been? Relatives out there?
