Around 850 BC there was a migration from Norway and Sweden and they became the present day Germans.

I just got my mom's DNA results, and although she had two grand fathers from Germany there was no German DNA. With a little research I found out about the 850 BC migration.

So even there your results say you may have some Viking blood, if you have German ancestors it should say you and the Vikings have the same ancestors.

I know the Germans are know as great craftsmen, and because my dad's DNA results and does have Viking ancestors.
I have learn they were also great craftsmen.

So now I know I get my love for wood working from my DNA. ;)
