Hi, Bo.

I went onto Googlemaps.com and zoomed to the spot. It looks like it's been abandoned for years. I see growth (trees?) that look like they are making their way back.

There is a rectangular shape that appears it might have been where the house or cottage may have been. They look like ruts in the dirt. And there seems to be tire marks from vehicles at some point recently.

My ancestors that lived there are on my paternal side with my male line going back as far as I have been able to so far, which is the 1710 Mantal and his approximate birth of 1654. He died at Lindasen in 1724, where his son took over for just a couple of years.

These last 24 hours have opened a flood of thoughts about the family's life on the farm. Now I'm wondering if there are records that may tell where my ancestor lived before he came to Lindasen.

Off to search!!

Again, Bo, thank you very much for your assistance.

Best regards,

Eric Johnson
