Looking for information on Herman Kolthoff who was the father of my great-grandfather Per born Feb 14, 1850 to Pernille Paulsdatter. Herman Kolthoff was a married man at the time. Pernille later married Syver Melby, I believe Herman would have lived near the Norwegian border in one of the parishes of Ostmark, Sodra Finnskoga, Ny skoga, Lekvattnet, Borgen or Eda. Pernille was from Ostre Nordby in Norway.
