I have just received an old publication (1917) compiled by the Rev. C.H.Hodgson regarding the history of St. Pauls, Valparaiso. For any of us who are looking for Anglican ancestors who may have been baptised, married of buried in Valparaiso there is one illuminating sentence "...1869...on Nov 10th a disastrous fire took place at the British Consulate in which the whole of the archives were destroyed including "Register Books Nos 1 and 2 of the British Episcopal Church Establishment" hence the scantiness of all records up to this date. The Minutes Books from 1869 are complete..."
The publication has some names and particulars of notables and details of the Memorial Windows and Brasses in the church.
There is also some history of St. Peters, Vina del Mar.
