I am reading any posts regarding Venezuela looking for information regarding my own relatives (no luck yet --my mother´s maiden name is Plathy, seems to be Hungarian, but her grandparents died young and no information so far regarding how they arrived in Venezuela). Anyway, I am a physician and live in Valencia, Venezuela. There is a sports medicine doctor here, Dr. Lester Storey (look for Lester Storey - funproindes-uc in your web browser). He is a university professor (probably retired now) should be in his late 60´s and is African American. I don´t have any idea if this helps but thought you might like to read.
