Yes, you can have access to archives, the city archive is free, for the State archive you need a pass costing 15 Euro (or we could go together).
The city archives dont have birth records from before 1905. Those are all in the State archive.Data from the last 100 years can only be obtained from the city itself. Be prepared with some descendancy proof or you might only get a confirmation of what you already know for a price!
