Wys Family From Belgium (Brabant ?)

I am searching for the origins of a Jules Martial Wys who appears to have arrived in London in the early 1860s with his French wife, Martine Garcia.

I'd be grateful for any information on this family. Is the surname Wys rare ? The only Wys family member mentioned in the IGI for Belgium is a Victoire Wys who was born in 1805 in Neerheylissm, Brabant, hence my post here.
Jean Detiege and Therese Collin, Bossut-Gottechain, marriage lookup

Jean Charles Detiege was born @1819 Bossut-Gottechain, Brabant-Walloon
Therese Collin was born @1825 Bossut-Gottechain, Brabant-Walloon

They were married there between 1845-1850. Children Marie b. 1850, Angelique b. 1852, and Alexandre b. 1854 came to Little Suamico, Oconto County, Wisconsin in 1855.

Is there anyone in or near Bossut-Gottechain who could do a marriage record lookup for Jean Charles and Therese? and then be prepared to do further lookups to develop the ancestry? I would be more than willing to pay for research time and copies made of any documents. Thank you in advance.

Geniesse / Ginies family of Perwez 1750-1856 and beyond.

Richard Joseph Geniesse was born in Perwez in 1798 to Laurent Geniesse and Anne Josephine Marchal. Richard married Marie Rose Jacques about 1824. Their children were: Jean Francois, Martin Felix, Pierre Joseph, Francois Prosper, Clement Perwez, Marie Albertine, Eugine Joseph, Alphonse, Dieudonne, and Celina. The children were born between 1825 and 1843. Four of the younger children immigrated to Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA in 1856. I believe the older children remained in Belgium. Eugene is believed to have married and had at least two daughters (probably born about 1860). They lived in either Brussels or Liege. Eugene was said to have been a wealthy banker, and possibly a vineyard owner. I was told that there was a Geniesse vineyards somewhere in Belgium. I am looking for descendants of this family, or anyone with information about the family.

Wittynek and Maes from Belgium to Ontario, Manitoba and Saskatchewan Canada

My grandfather was Athemar Maes, born in 1907 in Belgium. His father came to Canada when the children were small and his wife stayed behind until 1914. My grandfather and his siblings were left in an orphanage that was run by nuns. When the city was under attack during the first World War, and the orphanage was being heavily shelled, my grandfather, then 12 years old, and some other boys snuck on to a ship in the night and stowed away to North America. He joined his parents in Delhi, Ontario but soon started travelling the country, riding the rails, looking for work. There is a Maes Street in Delhi, named after my great grandfather who built most of the houses along that road.

My grandmother's family had come to Canada in the early 1900's as well. Her father was Bernard Wittynek and her mother's name was Clemence Maes. They had gone first to St. Alphonse, Manitoba and later moved west to homestead near Archerwill and McKague, Saskatchewan. They also lived in Quill Lake, Saskatchewan until my dad was 16 and then they moved back to Ontario, where they resided until they died. They are both buried at Waterford, Ontario, and lived at Simcoe, Ontario.

Both the Wittynek's and Maes families came from the north west part of Belgium and they spoke Flemish.

I would appreciate any information regarding these families, especially their ancestors in Belgium.

Seeking additional Belgian descendants and U.S. contacts.
Some of the Vignery's came to the U.S. in 1869 and 1871. The VIGNERY name is descended from Paul Francois Charles Vignerit, Pierre Antoine Vignerit before him, and Joannes Paulus Vigneri from the very early 1700's.
The Vigneri's, so far, have been from Namur Belgium primarily.

Upon arriving to the U.S., our Vignery's (Charles, Rosalie, Olivier, Victoria & Gustave) settled in Illinois for several years and then most continued on to Kansas. Gustave Vignery, Jr., went on to Florida in the early 1900's.

Hoping to connect with descendants and relations in U.S. and Belgium.
