Hi Mia,

I can't help you with finding the birth cert's in Belgium, but I think we are US cousins of the Belgian Froumys. I believe your Mom is Mafalda and grandmother is Irma. I am Irma's nephew John Froumy, son of August, Irma's sister. I now live in New Hampshire and often think about my Froumy family and wonder where my US relatives are. August, the only son of seven children, immigrated to the US and married Alice Walsh (my mother) and adopted two of her children: Richard and Hubert (a.k.a. Bud). I pride myself as the only male blood decendent in the US carrying the Froumy name. My son, and his two very young sons, are the only two remaining male Froumys carrying the name. Irma's sisters, Rosa, Virginie, and Aline, all in the US, never married. I'd love to correspond with you because I think we are among the very few blood line Froumys in the US.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
(my eamil address is john.froumy@verizon.net)
John
