I am seeking any and all information on people with the name of Verrue. According to some vague family history, the Verrue family seems to mainly consist of priests and other church officials, but there seems to also be some connection with this family and the Courtrai region, as well as the region in France near Poitiers. So far I have been able to trace the people back to Francois Verrue, who was born in 1727 in St. Genois, and married Anne Catherine Thibergien, and together had Guillaume Joseph Verrue in 1761 I believe. Rev. Edmond Charles Verrue, Guillaum's grandson migrated from France to the San Francisco Bay area in 1870.
