Surnames: Roose, De Roose, Ross, Closs, Oschenclausen
My Grandfather was John "Closs"b. 1820. We are not sure what his name in Blegium was as it was changed upon arriving in the United states. We believe it may have been Oschenclausen or something similar.
He went back to Basseville, , , Belgium to marry
Virgiania Ross (De /Roose). Her brother is Bruno he was born in 1831. Bruno came to the US with my grandfather and also returned home to marry. He had several children while in Belgium and then went to Michigan to live and had more children.
