I believe my ancestor in what is NOW Belgium, was Frederick von DILBECK, baron de Halsbeke. (record of 1661) My first ancestor in America (I believe) was Isaac DILBECK/DILBEEK, a Calvinist, weaver, from someplace in Netherlands/Holland. (Southern Netherlands now Belgium) and his wife Marieke Blomerse and their two sons Jacob and Abraham. They arrived in Pphladelphia Sept. 1683, o/b ship "America" which sailed from England. Isaac was a "servent" of Daniel Francis Pastorius. Does anyone back in Belgium have any information on the descendants of Frederick von Dilbeck, first baron of Halsbeke??? Howard Dilbeck
